Bench 01
a deeper exploration into the reuse of the stunning timber found in old hardwood railway sleepers the bench contrast the rough weather 100 year old surface as a new waney edge, contrasted against the finely finished ‘heart’ of the sleeper.
the construction is a further exploration of non permanent joinery, allowing the urban nomad to flat pack for transportation, repair or future re-appropriation.
